Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Lincoln MKX

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Lincoln MKX we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar, part number RM-676. Keep in mind this is only one component of our flat tow setup. You're going to need a base plate and a braking system, along with the tow bar wiring. Our tow bar is going to serve as the connecting point between our Lincoln and our motor home making sure that we can go down the road safely. Our Nighthawk is going to be the first tow bar that has integrated LED lights inside the arms. That's going to illuminate the area in between us, letting all the other drivers around us know that we're flat towing something and it's not someone just driving really close behind our motor home. Our Nighthawk is a motor home mounted tow bar, which means it's going to directly into the receiver tube or into the adapter like we have here. We're not going to have to worry about having a ball mount or any other kind of coupler to hook it up to. more

Blue Ox Tow Bar Installation - 2014 Lincoln MKX

Today on the 2014 Lincoln MKX, we're going to hook up part number BX7445. We got our Aventa Tow Bar straight out of the box. Let's go ahead and put it on to our RV. We got 2 different holes for adjustment. Always a good idea to keep this as close as possible. Install the hitch pin that comes with it. You may want to upgrade this to a locking hitch pin. Before we hook it up to our vehicle, we'll go ahead and show you how to store it. It's basically, as a ball socket, that you can take it and rotate it up. This pin will go in to the slot right here. more
